Case 09 Static site Live 2026

This site

zaehidhakim.co.uk (formerly devhakim.com), rebuilt as case notes in October 2026.

Presenting problem
The previous version of this site looked like a template, under-showed the work, and some of its claims had gone out of date.
Assessment
The real evidence is the projects themselves, so the site should read like a record of them, not a sales page. It also had to keep every existing URL and its search metadata.
Plan
A static site with one case note per project, served directly by my own web server, and a build check that stops server details ever reaching a published page.
Outcome
Live at zaehidhakim.co.uk. Every previous URL still resolves, and devhakim.com redirects each path to its new address.

Case detail

Why case notes

Clinical notes force you to be specific: what came in, what you found, what you did, and what is true now. That format suits engineering work just as well, and it stops adjectives standing in for evidence.

Why static

The site has no database and no logged-in users, so a server-side application would add nothing but something to patch. Plain pages are faster and leave less to attack.
